Sparx empowers kids to unleash their inner CEO through creativity and hands-on learning. Our CEO Creation Kit is a business-in-a-box kit for kids to create their own business and learn about the world of entrepreneurship. How it Works

  • Learn.

    The CEO Creation Kit includes a guide to walk kids through every step of the process. From learning about what makes a great business, to marketing, to getting paid.

  • Create.

    The kit includes all of the materials needed for kids to create their own unique products. They also get to design a poster to show off their business.

  • Become the CEO.

    After creating their product, designing a poster, getting the word out, and learning about what it takes to become a CEO, kids get to go out and sell their product!

Sparx

When I was 4 years old, I first learned about entrepreneurship from a neighbor that had an avocado tree. They would let me come over to pick the ripe avocados and then sell the avocados to other neighbors for a split of the profits.

I was a super shy kid, so that experience helped me gain confidence and gave me a taste of entrepreneurship.

Fast forward to 2019 (when I moved to Denver) when I started my first company. Running that company was the experience of a lifetime. I learned so much, worked so hard, and impacted thousands of people’s lives.

My goal with Sparx is to give kids a way to unlock their creativity and confidence while learning about entrepreneurship. In the Sparx box, parents will work with kids and be guided through the process to create and sell a product made by your kid. The box comes with all of the materials needed to create the cards, set up a stand, and start selling.

Parent FAQs

  • Sparx is designed for kids ages 6–15, with adult guidance recommended for younger entrepreneurs. It’s perfect for curious, creative kids who love making things and want to learn how to turn their ideas into a business.

  • Not yet! Right now, each kit is a one-time purchase. But we’re working on new kits with fresh business lessons so kids can keep building their CEO skills.

  • A little help goes a long way! Kids can do most of the activities on their own, but an adult should assist with certain things—like digital payments and setting up a safe selling spot.

  • Sparx is a perfect weekend activity. Most kids can finish the creative part of the kit in a few hours. Then if they want to do some marketing to neighbors, they should plan to do that the day before actually selling.

  • Absolutely! Sparx makes a thoughtful, empowering gift that goes beyond toys—perfect for birthdays, holidays, or just because.

  • Yes! Every kid is different but we’ve had amazing success stories of kids gaining a ton of confidence from Sparx. It’s a unique way to get kids talking to other people in a way that will build confidence as they sell more.

  • Not at all! Sparx was created to guide you and your kid through everything, no prior experience required.
